FamilyHolidayWishlists.com is a family-owned and operated business based in sunny San Diego, California. We appreciate you taking the time to visit and use our site and we hope it saves you and your family precious time during the hectic holiday season.

The idea for the site came about after we had done a wish list site for our own family for a couple of years and everyone found it to be pretty handy. We then said to ourselves "Hey, why don't we let lots more families enjoy the same benefit?" and so here we are. The other half of the motivation to build this site is to earn commissions (albeit small) on the items that are purchased directly from the Amazon.com links on this site. We simply would not be able to support this site without your active participation. Thank you!

Now for you tech-heads out there who might be wondering how the site works, the programming of this site is done using an alphabet soup's worth of Web technologies that revolve around the Asynchronous Javascript and XML (AJAX) technical design method. Here's a taste of what we're serving: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP and relational databases. The core framework for the site went from design on paper to worldwide availability on a public domain within two weeks. It sounds kinda fast but believe it or not it was that much fun to build.

Last but definitely not least, the site simply would not be what it is without the *extremely* helpful and important feedback we get from you (use the Contact Us form!)
